but nvr have chance to taste the home made coffee anymore when i'm in UK.. instant coffee became my only choice...!!! like i always told me friends that instant coffee can never compete with the coffee made from coffee powder.. the very fine grain of coffee powder can pass through the filter and make up the coffee "texture" whereas the instant coffee will never make it cos the fine grain is lost in the manufacturing process. Anyway, by holding to the principle of "when thr is no fish, shrimp still can be another good choice".. i was seeking the best available instant coffee during my life in UK...
i hate nescafe all the time.. cos the taste of coffee is not strong enough.. but when you try to make it more concentrated.. it turns into sour taste. Remember the "si kin na" phang wei hor told me that nescafe is not good, but nescafe gold is superior.. as usual.. he always like to exaggerate when he talks about something. Alright so i trust him for one time and try the nescafe gold..
Anyway, it might be little bit stronger in taste of coffee, but it is still not stronger enough. It failed to reach my expectation. Ok.. then i moved forward seeking for better one.. so i upgraded to nescafe black gold by hoping it would be better...
yup.. it improved.. but still not up to my expectation... then i tried to spend more money in order to get a better coffee for wake my life up...
then i tried again with
emm.. not much different.. then went further with
yup.. it is espresso... too bitter when u make it in the right portion.. it can be diluted.. but who want to drink diluted expresso..???
finally i came to
and
both of them are really bold and strong.. finally thr is something passing my expectation..anyway.. the Alta Rica is easily to be found at most of the supermarket like tesco and asda.. though they are more expensive than other coffee.. but as a coffee lover.. i still spend the money to drink the good coffee.. jst buy it and stock it up when thr is discount...
there is one type of nescafe coffee i have never tried.. the Cap Colombia.. if anybody tried it before.. please tell me whether it is good..
after all, i still miss my mum home made 434 coffee... i'm coming home soon... truly malaysian coffee.. here i come...!!!
SAI KEE 434 of cz is the best! Because it is produced in MUAR! Come to Muar and I treat you 434 kopi with roti bakar in the 434 shop..hehe
