Meeting up with old old friend... Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Bath... 20091118

On the second day, we joined the tour going to Windsor castle, Stonehenge and Bath. It is the best way for tourist to visit all these 3 places in one day time. Windsor is the official residence of the Queen, however she will normally be in Windsor only at weekend. Some parts of the castle are open to public visit.

Only the outer part of the castle is allowed for photography, not the interior part. So the pictures only show the castle outlook.

We went to approach the guard, but dare not go too near. hehehe...!!!

The statue of Queen Victoria

The old train used to be transport for the monarch from London to Windsor.

Going to the next stop, Stonehenge. It is a monument of many pieces of big rock built long time ago, said in the Bronze Age. It looks small from far. But once going near, can feel how large and how amazing people in Bronze Age can put up the monument. Jst spend about half and hour here and continue to the last destination, Bath.

The Bath is a small town and the only place in Britain with hot spring water. The Roman built their bath about 2000 years ago and it was only discovered in year 1880.

The entrance ticket...

The Roman bath... the water is not treated and visitors are not allowed to touch the water bcos it is dirty..

No matter what nation, people like to throw coins into any place with water...
