Parents at UK...

After some difficult moments, finally my parents came to UK on 2nd Dec 2009. Actually i was so happy to see them after 15 months. But the show of hugging them at the airport arrival hall didnt really happen cos i was still too shy (hehehe...).

Though they have been on plane for more than 12 hours, but i told them not to sleep first so that it would be easier to overcome the jetlag. The best way of being awaking is going out for some sightseeing. The manchester city centre, like many other cities, the wheel is a good attraction.

And also the chinatown as there are so many chinese people at manchester.

 It is december, the xmas market is open, a must-see for first timer to UK.

Football match at Old Trafford Stadium...

For Man United fans, watching a football match at Old Trafford stadium might be their biggest dream. I'm not a football fan, but jst want to feel the live environment at the dream theatre on the home of football. At first I wanted to watch another UEFA champion league match which was supposed to be more interesting, but as usual, not easy to get a good ticket at old trafford. In the end we went for the UEFA champion league match between MU and Beşiktaş JK. Before going I had already expected it wont be a very interesting match because MU has already quite confirmed to become top in the group. As expected, the major key players were not on the field and surprisingly MU young players lost the match to the Turkish team which later became bottom in the group. I could really feel the disappointment of the local fans but for me, it was still a nice experience.

How distant couple watch movie together...!!!

For people living at oversea, very often the couple has to be separated by thousand of miles. Thanks to the advancement in internet technology, nowadays distant couple can talk to each other easily in internet and even do video call. But the true advancement still lies on human. Some people have used it to the extent that normal people can't imagine. Yup, that's right, watching movie together.

My friend really did this. Both of the couple download the same movie and play it at the same time while the video call to each other is live. By doing this, the couple virtually watch the movie together and they can even discuss the story line in the video call. It sounded quite funny for me at the first time i heard about this. Anyway, it is still a very creative use of internet in maintaining long distance relationship. Give him a big applaud... hehe...!!!

Wish all long distance couples to end the long distance separation soon and be happy together...!!!
